Today's Catch-22 of modernity:
Contacted our ISP re the dead ADSL. Explained the line is noisy, so that's probably the problem.
Them: Oh, then you must place a telephone fault.
It's the same company, by the way. So I place a telephone fault.
Them: We've tested the line and there's nothing wrong with it.
Me: I don't care about the phone, we don't use it, I need the ADSL
Them: Well we'll get a BT engineer to check the phone, but if it's OK, you'll have to pay a call-out fee.
Me: ADSL-splutter ๐ฑ
