Top tip for all you #offgrid folk out there - go and have a widdle before doing lead-acid battery maintenance.
It may lead to one of those "I can just manage this cell, then I'll have to run" moments, then you forget the noise the deionised water makes when you pour it into the dispenser, let alone the slow. controlled dribble into each cell.
Also, it's 4°C out there - that doesn't help.
