Got this thing just before work today, I will have to shut down my server eventually to install it, but I think it'll mean I can easily mess with my PC-98 and 486 PC drives (and even use my Plextor SCSI CD-ROM caddy drive on my ivy bridge system). (Adaptec AHA-2940AU PCI SCSI controller card in the box). I'll be unboxing it now.

I have a PCI-X SCSI controller already that does work technically (even with a 32 bit PCI slot), but the connectors on it are wrong for stuff of my computers' vintage, and it's an awkward fit. I had to cut into the chipset heat sink with a dremel to make the card fit in the case. Much easier to justify keeping this one in it.
Adaptec AHA-2940AU PCI SCSI controller in the box. It's a big fat box of the kind you never see hardware sold in anymore except possibly graphics cards; it's thicker than a SNES, and similarly thick to a box fan.
