I keep hand wringing about finding replacement services for Google, aws, GitHub etc, but what if I just run everything myself on my NAS and if I fuck it up, I fuck it up? If I run my own mail server will I spend all my free time trying to keep it running in a spam hurricane? Are any of my git repos really important to anyone but me, and if so I could just make a Jekyll page for them…
