probably too personal take on sf/f events

I keep hoping that leaving quantum and leaving tech and leaving academic research might mean I can find a community that I can belong in, that I am welcomed in, and that I can give back to.

That Worldcon endorsed the use of LLMs as a part of filtering panel applicants tells me that might not be a community I can call home after all.
