I wrote up a guide for how to make a personal archive of your books, copy them onto a Kobo eReader, manage them with Calibre and Calibre-Web, and even do all of that over Tailscale if you'd like.

The guide should hopefully be such that you can bail whenever you like, with each step getting you progressively closer to an easy-to-use process for supporting authors and protecting your books from fascist erasure.
