This is absolutely more about the AI bullshit more than the UF sponsorship, but I am either begging Mozilla to please, please make a browser, *or* for some other well-funded NPO to hard fork Firefox and stop making it worse.
Anyway, as a reminder, quantum computers do not exist yet¹. Developing OSS software for quantum computers is cool, but ultimately speculative and optimistic. That's not unreasonable, but it should factor into how you calculate your priorities!

¹I am defining a quantum computer as a "fault-tolerant quantum device capable of running nontrivial quantum programs." This is a reasonable definition, and few people on the planet are better equipped to defend that.
