The bottle of upholstery cleaner I'm looking at says "removes stains permanently." This is confusing to me. If it removes a stain, then the stain is no longer there. If a product removes a stain temporarily, as this product seems to imply would be the default case had they not clarified "permanently," then where would the stain go such that it could be recalled later? Where are other products storing the stain when I'm not looking?
