This is an incredible thread. I could not imagine a better analogy than Bluesky-v-Twitter to illustrate why the "AI is inevitable" line of argument fails.
Bluesky is the new Twitter, not an alternative to Twitter. It's *already* turning into exactly the kind of no-queers-allowed hellhole that Musk *explicitly* turned Twitter into. That analogy doesn't support Anil's argument, it completely *refutes* it.
