Please don't try to sell me on that the fight against AI is less important than ${other very valid and necessary fight}.
We know AI is bad. We know AI is proliferating disinformation. We know that AI is making fascists rich and handing them control over culture. We know AI is based on a weird end-times eugenics cult.
This has been a fascist tactic as long as I've had any political consciousness whatsoever — to tell us that one fight is a "distraction" from another fight. To divide us into many smaller groups that are easier to defeat.
Your fight and my fight may not be the same, I get it. But my fight is not a "distraction" from your fight, and vice versa.
