How many times have people tried to claim that if we want to defeat the fascists, we need a "big tent" that includes both trans people and violent transphobes, that trans people need to wait this round of eliminationism out so that we can focus on the "real" problems?
Completely ignoring that the whole *point* of this eliminationist push is to split the progressive movement apart?
Like, yeah, fighting against AI may not seem as important as fighting against violent racism and trans eliminationism. I get it.
But also, it's the *same people pushing all of it*. It is as important because *it's a different part of the same fight*.
Giving up on AI means ceding ground to fascists, ground that they will absolutely fucking use on every other goddamned front. I'm not about to do that.
