Turns out the Nintendo Switch dock works for other devices too if you try hard enough

A Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Yoga laptop spread out flat and inserted sideways into the Nintendo Switch dock so that the dock's USB-C port plugs right into the laptop, and surprisingly enough KDE Plasma's battery applet shows that it is indeed charging.
