The Japanese government and the Liberal Democratic Party have passed a law in the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors that violates the secrecy of communication information. The "Active Cyber โ€‹โ€‹Law" allows the police and the Self-Defense Forces' Cyber โ€‹โ€‹Defense Unit to neutralize attackers' servers using information provided by telecommunications companies. However, the secrecy of communication under international law may be violated, and personal mobile phones and PC emails can be analyzed without a court warrant.
