But I'm also incredibly proud of the work we did at TechCrunch this year, breaking new ground and stories, (and occasionally executives' hearts). Here's a few stories we covered that I also want to highlight:

1/4) @lorenzofbLorenzo Franceschi-Bicchierai broke news linking the 'Careto' hacking group, which targeted Cuban state institutions, to the Spanish government. Absoluteley incredibly reporting that took years to piece this story together.

2/4) After Trump took office, Elon Musk and his DOGE lackeys quickly raided federal departments and ransacked their systems of some of the U.S.' most sensitive and classified information. I parsed what ultimately became the 'biggest breach of U.S. government data' as it was happening — even if all of the effects won't be felt for some time.
