Thunderbird just updated. The new version implements a new turns on by default, without warning or explanation, a new-ish (by Thunderbird standards) " " of messages, an amazing innovation for displaying three to four times fewer messages in the same space. (FUCK YEAH PROGRESS!!! Or something.)

If you take one look at "Cards View" and think what the FUCK is this shit and how do I go back?, here's how you turn it off. Pop down the menu from the tiny button in the top right corner of your inbox, set it back to Table View, and you're good.
