I have never observed Wayland’s goal of “every frame is perfect” to work out in practice :(

Latest example: switching between terminals in sway clearly shows an intermediate state “between” the two windows (captured with my iPhone 17 at 60fps)

frame 0011: alacritty focused, about to click on foot

frame 0012: foot clicked, weird intermediate state
