Just got reminded of the seasons again and therefore thought of how I – despite literally(-ish) having a minor in physics and also in general not being all that bad at it – still on some level don't believe that the seasons really are flipped on the other hemisphere (whatever "other" means relative to you). Like, what do you mean that Australia has summer right now‽‽ It feels fake, like some conspiracy myth some people made up – and not something whose explanation I myself know!
