이제 스레드의 '주제(Topic)' 기능을 '해시태그'라고 부를 수 없겠네요.

게시물 작성 화면에서 '해시태그'를 의미하는 '#' 버튼이 없어졌고 대신 '주제 추가' 버튼이 들어갔습니다.

물론 전에 '해시태그'와 비슷하게 보일 때에도

- 게시물에 하나 밖에 쓸 수 없었고
- 태그에 스페이스를 쓸 수 있었고
- '#'이 없었으니

정확하게 해시태그는 아니었지만 이제는 입력하는 방법도 그렇고 표시되는 위치도 그렇고 확실히 '주제' 기능이라고 불러야겠네요.

눈치채신 분도 있겠지만 블루스카이가 트래픽 추적에 더 용이한 리퍼러(Referrer)를 도입했습니다. go.bsky.app 로 개인 웹페이지나 블로그, 언론 등에서 블루스카이에서 오는 트래픽을 더 쉽게 추적이 가능합니다. 뿐만 아니라 X(구 트위터)와 다르게 링크가 삽입된 게시물에 불이익을 주지 않아 게시물 작성시 링크를 분리하지 않아도 됩니다. 😆

Looking forward to pulling some pf(4) stats.

I had a box hanging out there with nothing more than just a different sshd port (not for actual security, just less groper noise in the logs) with a year of log data on bots probing for accounts.

This evening I implemented geo-blocking anything that isn't from a domestic IP based on geoip data.

Now we wait a week or so, and then compare the $before to the $after volume of SSH probing attempts.

(in a comic-book style) a bald villain gives an evil grin and presses his fingers together waiting for the unfolding of his plan

As we started the new year, there was discussion about some headwinds that we would be encountering as an organization. Unfortunately, I was caught in some of those headwinds, and as a result have been affected by the current workforce reduction.

Have some logistics to figure out in the interim, but will be looking to pick back up again and contribute to the evolution of a cyber security program, albeit likely at another organization.
