Update: the new rich Discord embeds are now available for posts on a variety of other ActivityPub services, including Misskey, Pixelfed, and more! Embeds also now indicate when a post is a reply.
Discord embeds for Mastodon posts are getting a lot better! You should see better images and videos, better formatting, better context styling, and support for embedding a wider variety of posts. This is rolling out now, so you should see it start to take effect in the coming hours. Let me know if you run into any problems!

PyLadiesCon Certificate of Attendance Not sure how common is this practice of giving out certificates to conference attendees. I’ve been attending mostly Python-related conferences in North America, and we don’t usually get any certificates here. However, when I went to Python Brasil in Manaus 2022, they gave me a certificate of attendance. And as a conference organizer, occasionally I’d receive request from a few attendees and volunteers about such certificate, saying that their employer or school requires it as proof of attendance.

I think there's an interesting, distinct subgenre of anxiety in (most) music genres. For example, "anxiety metal" -- the Heavy Metal movie soundtrack (1982), "anxiety folk" -- Natural One by The Folk Implosion (1995), "anxiety rock" -- Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider (1981) / Twilight Zone by Golden Earring (1982), etc.. and I kinda love all of it?
