do you ever get that feeling of having many potential exciting things to work on, but it all feels useless because you're just doing it for yourself and nobody really cares beyond you or would make the choices you make beyond you, and as much as everyone always just tells you to believe in yourself and do what feels right to you, it's somehow very hard to do things just for yourself? especially in terms of putting effort into things? why are brains like that? esp knowing it'd help feel better?

@ayo Yeah — B2 is great. Amazon broke the S3 SDK for a lot of 3rd party S3 providers so I had to switch Directus to a mount and “local” storage. 😭
I need to do a detailed breakdown, but it’s trending that way.
Feedbin to FreshRSS. Instapaper to linkding, iCloud storage to Immich, Netlify to a LAMP server, Digital Ocean for Directus to the Coolify server, Fastmail to Stalwart and Baikal.
Even if it’s break even I prefer the control haha.

@ayo 😅 it’s a lot of things I was previously paying for as a SaaS. The Stalwart server for my email is ~$3.50 a month. For storage I just mount B2 buckets using rclone.
@ayo Hah yeah — I like having all of this hosted myself, but I have separate servers for Navidrome, Immich and my site. Coolify handles RSS, analytics, linkding, calendar/contacts, site build and API and such.
@ayo I love it — the only thing I have deployed independent of it is Stalwart since navigating the Coolify proxy through to it was beyond me.
