특히 우리나라는 본인인증을 본인명의 휴대폰인증에 의존하고있기때문에 훨씬 심각함..

애초에 본인인증을 사기업인 통신사한테 의존하는거 부터가 맞는건지 잘 모르겠음(...)

一張連署書的重量

騎機車的民眾拿來連署書，字跡工整，但紙張上的摺痕很明顯是有不少傳遞的痕跡。

拿到連署書的志工，仔細核對證件，住址，上面的各個資訊有沒有填寫不正確，超出格子，簽名是否可以正確辨識。

沒想到姓名寫錯格子！看著滿臉灰心拿著連署書來的連署人，搔搔頭想說還要回去再給家人寫一次好麻煩。

志工叮嚀：這個連署書這樣寫，一定是會被退件，你都這麼努力簽了，一定比我們更不想白費，我們還會在這裡站一個小時，你回去簽了還可以拿回來，我們還在。果不其然，這樣的話語讓連署人聽了非常受用，沒多久就看他風塵僕僕的把連署書拿來，這次終於對了。

看著志工細心整理這兩個小時的收穫，核對無誤後，把得來不易的連署書夾好，放在最不會掉的地方，因為他們知道這些來自民眾的託付的紙張，就是每個人意志的延伸，就這樣寫在這張紙上。

沒有親身參與，很難想像，這個區域幾萬份的連署書，每週超過40個站點，輪班的志工，一份一份這樣簽著拿回來。

沒拿錢卻做著這個拿錢也不想幹的事情，疲勞總是會寫在臉上，但領頭的志工覺得好像還是可以繼續，差一點就過關了。

而我覺得讓大家還繼續撐下去的是，那每一份連署書的重量。

Piracy: primarily our concern is that if an author uploads it to their own website or to a university repository (as a great many people do, and which in all honesty we don’t really object to per se, though it is contractually disallowed), it’s then easily downloaded by any number of people and made widely available – and that is the issue.

[서버 규칙 공지]

안녕하세요, 은하수의 연성공방의 공방장, 은하수입니다.

특정 유저를 서버 차원에서 정지시켜달라는 요청은 어떤 상황에서도 받아들일 수 없습니다.

최근 해당 사안에 관련한 문의를 받아 공지드립니다. 스팸이나 수동적 태러 등 서버 차원에서의 공격이 아닌 이상 어떠한 인물이든 특정 유저를 서버 차원에서 차단할 수 없으며, 이유는 아래와 같습니다.

1. 특정 유저를 밀키웨이 아틀리에에서 차단하여도 그것이 유저에 대한 페널티로 적용되지 않습니다: 유저는 타 서버에 가입하거나 새로운 아이디를 만드는 등 다양한 대책이 마련되어 있으므로 유저 본인을 향한 페널티로 적용되기는 어려워 보입니다.
2. 밀키웨이 아틀리에의 타 유저(공방원)가 사용에 불편을 겪게 됩니다. 설령 정지 요청의 대상이 악인이라 하더라도, 이에 대한 불만 제기 등을 제시할 수도 있을 것입니다. 대상과 소통할 권리 자체를 서버에서 빼앗는 것은 밀키웨이 아틀리에의 취지와는 맞지 않다는 입장입니다.
3. 특정 유저를 차단하는 것이 허용되어 버리면 이후 연합에 끼칠 파장에 대해 책임지기 어렵습니다. 어떤 불화, 다툼에 의해 누군가를 차단하는 일이 동시다발적으로, 혹은 공공연하게 일어난다 한다면 연합우주 자체를 안전한 공간으로 유지하기 어려울 것으로 느껴집니다.

해당 사안에 대해 공지에도 시간이 걸리겠으나 첨언을 해두겠으며, 관련한 문의는 앞으로 일절 받지 않겠습니다. 긴 글 읽어주셔서 감사합니다.

My half-baked deep thought of the weekend:

Arrow’s Impossibility Theorem should be renamed Arrow's Context-Sensitivity Theorem, and re-interpreted as saying a social choice function that neglects context leads to dictators.

I say this because the axiom of independence from irrelevant alternatives--one of the assumptions behind the theorem--states that a social choice function should be such that the relationship between A and B is not changed once a new alternative C is introduced. Unpacked, this means the choice function should be insensitive to any context C might bring with it.

Arrow's theorem essentially says that a social choice function satisfying this and a couple other axioms leads to dictators (meaning, one individual's preferences dictate the social choice function's preferences, overruling everyone else involved in the choice who might disagree). Hence the re-interpretation: neglecting context in social choice leads to dictators.

There is a new section titled "Assumptions":

- Servers MUST NOT store invalid objects received from clients.
- Servers MUST NOT allow clients to create objects representing public keys.
- Servers MUST NOT share secret keys with clients.

These are true for most existing ActivityPub servers, but a hypothetical general-purpose server might allow clients to store arbitrary data. In that case origin-based security model stops working.

Incidentally, this is exactly what I was trying to build - a general-purpose FEP-ae97 server. It seems that such server needs to have strict validation rules, and therefore can't really support all possible activities.

そもそもこのレーベルを始動する際に作ろうとしていた本が完成しました。 「うちの場合を聞きに行く 本屋的サバイバルジャーナル」 1人の本屋が2人の本屋に「うちの場合」を聞きに行ったインタビューの記録です。インタビューの相手は、共に20年程の本屋歴がある、高円寺の絵本屋「えほんやるすばんばんするかいしゃ」の店主・荒木健太さんと、横浜、妙蓮寺の新刊書店「石堂書店」と「本屋・生活綴方」の店長・鈴木雅代さん。 聞き手は編集・発行と同様にペッ文庫が担当しました。 モデルと呼べるようなものはもう作り得ない状況で、一店舗一店舗がそれぞれレアケースを作り出しなんとかやっている印象がある本屋界隈。
