The Fediverse has its share of consistency problems: comments and likes only show up in some places, but not others.

Signal is worse. I have 4 linked devices, and each of them has a different subset of the chats, and different messages in each chat, with no way of reconstituting the conversation in one place that I can see.

I'm not understand what the security problem might be in doing this, it's the same account. They just haven't gotten around to it?

In a very rough analogy, if your family name is Smith, you just write it as S. And if your family name is Scott, you also write it as S.
So John Smith become John S. Jane Scott is Jane S. It looks like same 'S', but actually those are different 'S's.
This is due to Korean 'one letter' family name system.
Kim consists of Gimhae Kim, Gyeongju Kim, Gwangsan Kim, etc.
My family name, Lee, is Cheonghae Lee, which approximately 12,000 people have.
But we practically do not know each other's 'true family name'. Most people do not know their own true family name. So.. whatever. It looks same.

@bekopharm@indieweb.social Foreign names sound like more.. 'nickname-y' to me, so slightly better chance to memorize them.
Korean names have so little diversity. Korean names usually consist of just two letters (or syllables), sometimes one or three. And family names consist of one letter, sometimes two.
All names look same, pronunced same, and, in many cases, literally same (homonyms).
You know, most of Korean family names are Kim, Lee, or Park...
It is so hard to memorize all those minute differences..

シアトルワールドコンが登壇者の情報収集にOpenAIのLLMを利用した件について。

まず、LLMの利用について発表してくださったことに感謝します。勇気の必要なリリースだったことでしょう。

私の考えを述べます。現在のo3なら参加者の背景を調べることは可能だったでしょう。ハルシネーションも、人間のスタッフの偏見よりはずっと低いと私は考えています。

実務上の必要もわかります。現在のGoogle検索は広告を出しているアカウントの商業的な情報に比して、オーガニックに蓄積された人文的な情報が検索結果に出にくくなっていますから、o3の方がずっとマシな結果になることは多い。利用したくなる気持ちはわかります。

しかしOpenAIの利用に問題がないわけではありません。OpenAIはあのLLMを作るためにフェアユースが認めていない海賊版を利用していました。徐々に「公正さ」に寄っている今もその疑惑は晴れていません。

コンベンションとして利用するのなら、そこには言及し、あるいは強く批判していただきたいものです。

台灣人很重視搞笑，或者說很熱愛帶給他們娛樂的東西，不管那是什麼以及是什麼形式
但是卻不會意識到，或者去思考
每天吸收這麼多娛樂後可能帶來的空虛

現代要取得讓人感到娛樂的東西很簡單
但要能夠意識到每天食用甚至過度食用這些事物，對身心靈並沒有太明確的幫助很難

以上純屬個人感覺，其實可能也不僅限於台灣人
