An unexpected performance regression on speed.python.org that only showed up on GCC 5 (and 7) led me to set up more rigorous tracking of Python performance when using different compilers. I'm still backfilling data but I think it's pretty awesome to see how much, and how consistently, free-threaded Python performance has improved since 3.13:

I changed my display name to be "ûnkreativiteit", Frisian word which (should) mean uncreativity. I tried (machine) translating the word to various Germanic languages, and found the Frisian one to be a perfect balance of familiarity and unfamiliarity. As for how it is actually pronounced, I would be happy to hear from speakers of the language(s) (went to read about the language in Wikipedia.. "There are three different branches of Frisian, which are usually called Frisian languages, despite the fact that dialects within those branches may not be mutually intelligible." I assume the word I chose is from West Frisian).

My nickname is not particularly pronounceable (unless you speak one of the Slavic languages), nor I did intended it to be; it was supposed to be a string of random letters that is unique enough to be left unused across internet (as far as search engines can scour). Let's see how it works out.
