AWS 를 바닥 (vpc 세팅) 부터 새롭게 하고 있다. private, public subnet 나누고 NAT 인스턴스 올리고, 베스천으로 프록시점프해서 private 구간 인스턴스 ssh 접속 확인하고 nginx 올리고 next 프로젝트 가져와서 proxy pass 걸고 alb 넣고.. 콘솔에서 바닥부터 한땀한땀 설정하는 게 오랜만이라 그런가 재밌다.

(요즘 엔지니어들이라면 IaC로 단숨에 끝냈겠지만)

아무도 알아주지 않지만 견고하게(?) 세팅 끝냈다며 혼자 뿌듯해 하는 1인, 그렇게 하루종일 개발 안하고 인프라 만지작 거리다 하루가 끝났다.

I'm in the @adonisframeworkAdonisJS Framework discord and people keep asking a question along tje lines of "how do I share my database between two separate applications?"

It's almost like folks have missed microservices/services 101, where the primary fule is essentially: your API contract is shared, not your database schema

I'm really curious though why so many folks wanna share a database, because it's a terrible idea & makes all your applications very brittle and hard to evolve independently

If you care about the ability of the public to share important information today outside of increasing and inevitable efforts at government control, you must support and the further decentralization with balanced moderation of the fedi. Obviously the big corporate platforms won't be on our side, but neither will whose decentralization seems to only be about providing exits of last resort, not truly giving us total control.

- summer is time for making much tempeh and using my mill finally to split the hulls
- made the first big pot of black beans i could be 100% proud of recently, next up is tamales
- breakthrough when frying mushrooms, no fat added to the pan until they're 70+% cooked through is the key
- soon we will have a free cafe day at a certain offline location, banana waffles?
- the self-checkout register's scales are almost always disabled now, lucifer returns to heaven, dancing in the streets

極右ユーチューバーが韓国の戒厳令やその後についてデマ流してた一次情報は今に至るまで一つも確認してないのだが、ハンギョレとか日本語にもなってるメディア追ってればある程度つかめてたわけで、そもそも情報源の取捨選択ができない極右ジャパニーズのリテラシーの問題だろうに。

인생 첫 버터스카치 시나몬 파이랑 식감이 취향 아니라고 생각했음에도 궁금하니까 사봤던 사브레랑 화이트초코 마카다미아 쿠키를 하나씩 맛보고서 골고루 좋은 느낌을 받음 특히 사브레가 마음에 들었다고 한다 부드럽게 사라락 씹히는 식감이랑 풍미가 무난해서 아메리카노만 있으면 앉은 자리에서 무한히 먹을 수도 있겠더라

Hey folks! I use sendowl.com for fulfillment of my ebook and audiobook sales, and they've just raised my monthly fee from $39 to >$200, which consumes more than 100% of my margin.

Does anyone have PERSONAL EXPERIENCE with an alternative service they would recommend (VERY MUCH NOT looking for hearsay here - just people with their own stores who like their e-asset delivery partner).

Finally had a go at pytest-xdist in curl. It's a very nice extension to pytest. Had to do some specials for our server setups, but all else was pretty great.

Time reduction on my local 10 core machine from 4m17s to 0m44s.🎉
