In an in-person conversation, someone mentioned that they thought there was an N99 version of the 3M Aura. I'd like to have some of these for the next time there's a wildfire, but I don't find anything about this online. Do you know what they could have been referring to? I wear only the 3M Auras because the builtin foam nosebridge is the only thing I've ever seen that avoids fogging my glasses.

I went into the article skeptical, but found myself coming around to the POV that data-attributes offer significant advantages over a class="…" grab-bag.

However, it was unfortunate that most of the examples go down a non-semantic route, doing things like

data-align=left

or

data-border-collapse~="top"

which push the style decisions into the HTML rather than leaving the HTML to define the *structure*, and letting the CSS to decide the *appearance*. Especially since this data-attribute method is great for facilitating this separation.

tl;dr: use data-attributes rather than classes, could better examples

I made cake pops this afternoon but I only discovered once I'd finished that I'd used "chocolate flavored candy coating" rather than, you know, chocolate. I tried to make them black raspberry and chocolate flavored but they mostly just taste like sugar 😂

Oh well! Sometimes in the quest to make delicious things you have to make somewhat less delicious things first!
