it all started going downhill after we let companies decide to replace »:D« with »😃« without asking. the first domino that fell in the long line of the computer actually understands what we want to do but refuses to because it knows better what we actually want, even if we explicitly tell it that it doesn’t.

最近の着弾物紹介その181。デアゴスティーニのアメリカンカーコレクション97号、AMC Rambler Rogue Hardtop 1969です。モデルはPCTメタルダイキャスト製。塗装はブルーメタリックのボディとマットブラックのルーフで構成される2トーンカラー。仕上がりは良好で発色・艶ともに申し分なし。個体差も無さそうな感じでたいへん満足度の高い1台でしたね。ややマイナーな車種かもしれませんが、これは個人的にオススメしたい1台です( ´∀`)

Feels weird to post about work stuff with the world burning around us, but you can now get a wheel from `pip install pyzmq` on Python 3.14 (and later!) thanks to Cython 3.1’s stable ABI support. Cython and cibuildwheel continue to impress me.

The day my mom died my one sister and I were in the waiting room at the AGH MICU (which was shared with a couple other departments) making calls to family and friends to tell them they needed to come see her ASAP. There was a woman in the waiting room that came over with tears in her eyes and said that she just wanted to give us both a hug and say how sorry she was. She said she just had to do what we were doing a little while before and she knew how hard it was.

I don't know who that woman was. I don't know her name or her story. I don't know why she was in that waiting room. The only thing that I know for sure is I still think about her a lot because that one simple little thing she did at probably the hardest time of my life made things a little bit better.

Don't ever talk yourself out of doing something because you think it's too small. The difference could be a lot larger than you think.

해외는 음반 가격이 너무 비싼 것 같음
우리나라가 유독 싼 건지는 모르겠지만 CD도 비싸고 디지털 음반도 한 곡에 몇 천 원 씩 하는 거 너무 비쌈
국내에서는 16비트도 900원인데...
