Roughly going from English, through French, Russian, Arabic, Korean, Japanese, to Mandarin (Chinese)

A few days ago I released an update to the PINPal macOS app <https://github.com/glyph/PINPal/releases/tag/2025.6.18> which:
- fixes the notifications so they actually occur on time
- adds a "launch on login" toggle
- fixes the user notifications to not (haha oops) say "blah blah blah" in its description text.
There are still plenty of bugs and rough edges but I think this is starting move out of "proof of concept" territory and more towards something like a real alpha-test.

最近睡眠實在不大行，思緒太多，來寫個大罷免小故事解悶。
前兩天在志工服務時，碰到一位修女，悄悄的跟我說：「唉，我的機構有時候就不知道為什麼都不在意，旁邊都是保守到不行的，但我老早就想連署了，但我不敢把連署書拿回去，今天又沒帶身分證。」
年紀不小的她，看來非常關心社會，繼續說：「他們真的不懂，這些根本不是藍綠的問題，看看現在伊朗和以色列開戰，我們面臨的世界就是得積極勇敢做出選擇（和平）。」
我一邊稱讚她有世界觀，非常了解時事，一邊慌亂的想辦法填連署書。
一看年紀，也60好幾離70不遠，雖然記不得自己的手機號碼，記不得自己的身分證字號，卻念著關懷和平的心情，終於在街上被我遇到，簽下了她想了很久的連署書。
當我們忙著說謝謝時，她大聲斥喝說：「謝什麼，是我要謝謝你們，你們謝什麼謝，大家要感謝的是願意站出來承擔的人！」
的確，這陣子真的覺得好多人願意承擔，願意承接這些不堪；而我敬佩這些承接責任者之餘，在街頭也看到為數眾多的良善、關心社會的人們。
「我會為你們帶來好運的」大姐穿著修女服，跟我們大聲道別。
然後就神奇的，連續5張連署書蜂擁而至...

I used this yesterday for the first time, to post a series of updates about the videos from PublicSpaces last week. Useful stuff, and added to my list of power tools.
For #FediforumFriday it looks like we cleared the last big hurdle for #LongFormText. It looks like Mastodon is FEP-compliant which means we have multiple publishers and consumers. Really good news.
Really do not think that moderation rules should define what is "stressful to many people". Especially when it define all politics to be stressful. Not being able to speak for my own life is what stressful actually means.
