I've just learned that there is such a thing as "Amazon Renewed" for cameras (which is very interesting indeed). So I went to the page for a K1000 and was informed that "unlike other SLR and DSLR cameras, the K1000 is simple and has little to no learning curve."

Oh hahahahoho No.

No human with an iota of actual experience could have written that. Is this why there is so much nonsense our there about film photography? Is it *all* being written by LLMs?

I just saw somebody refer to a human person, like an actual meat-and-bone possessed-of-inalienable-rights-and-inherent-dignity human person, as "agentic".

Bernard Avishai once famously said that the danger of computers is not that they will eventually get as smart as people, but that we will meanwhile agree to meet them halfway, and I think about that every day. Not just in terms of smarts, but dignity, kindness and decency.
