@lcamtuflcamtuf :verified: :verified: :verified: doing computations in the cloud. yeah. fuck off. i can see how those are drowning out the ones that are interesting. but there is homomorphic encryption use-cases which are exciting, for example multiparty computations, where all participants hold some secret and they want to calculate a function without revealing their inputs. i guess it's not exactly called HE, but relies on homomorphic algebraic structures of encrypted inputs

I wrote up how I'm now thinking about the structure of my website, Cybercultural. Basically, I've borrowed the 'seasons' concept from podcasting (and tv). Remember how blogging was — and still is — defined by reverse-chronological? Well I think websites / newsletters / blogs in this era need something more akin to digital gardens. I reckon seasons is a good way to structure it, but let me know your thoughts. cybercultural.com/p/seasons/

👉 All three tech companies have failed to comply with access requests under Article 15 GDPR.  This makes it impossible for European users to exercise their fundamental right to privacy, to find out how their personal data is being processed.

"Microsoft can't protect French data from US government access"

"The Senate hearing exposed tensions between sovereignty rhetoric and practical implementation. While French officials promote digital independence, procurement decisions consistently favor non-European solutions for critical infrastructure projects."
