영어 너무 어렵다

고맥락언어/저맥락언어 얘기하던데 그냥 서양 친구들 눈에 자기들 맥락 숨김은 자연스럽고 동양 언어의 맥락은 낯설어서 그리 나눈 거 아닐까?

Apparently ysap moved from tiktok to instagram and youtube and caught a wave of interest, fuelling his drive to create positive content about, bash well, a lot of small tips for bash — I don’t know, but I hope they will continue creating stuff (what is it with Americans that make them say things like "I love capitalism"? — anyway) and great content for the long format — the short format is not connecting and kind of boorish, more bash

bash sounds really vulgar in norwegian and makes it weird or funny to talk about in full sentences
swedish people have a similar sounding word meaning a beer — bärs

Thought about yolo migrating my Mastodon instance over to the new server right now.

But I went the reasonable route and first reduced the DNS TTL, so that switching IPs will hopefully be reasonably quick.

Realized that Mastodon is one of the workloads I can pretty easily migrate to a FreeBSD jail.

So first gonna spin up a test instance with that, which shouldn’t be too hard with the help of this guide by @stefanoStefano Marinelli
