I've got a new paper out on eprint: Monitoring tamper-sensing meshes using low-cost time-domain reflectometry.

In the paper, I wrote up how you can build a ~200 ps resolution time-domain reflectometer from an STM32 and some cheap display bus redriver ICs. The circuit is sensitive enough to distinguish several identical copies of the same test specimen PCB from manufacturing tolerances!

The final setup. On the right is the measurement board, and on the left is the mesh test specimen plugged in. In a real application, you would integrate both into your target circuit.The sampling edges as measured by the board itself. As you can see, using a cheap microcontroller and some cheap display signal redriver ICs along with commodity RF schottkies you can get pretty spicy edges on a budget.

Daher meine Take-aways zu Souveränität:

1. Es ist ok, dagegen zu sein. Es gibt manchmal nur miese Mehrheiten zu gewinnen. (gilt ebenso für Palantir und Chatkontrolle!)
2. Zerschlagen, regulieren, besteuern...und leistet Widerstand (antifaschistischen, und lasst euch nicht einspannen!).
3. Beim nächsten Mal wieder positive Visionen. Versprochen.

Had to do this for my channel recently, too :(

I'd never seen it in the wild, so for anyone else who hasn't had the pleasure: YT is beginning to auto-enable AI voice "translations" of people's videos, and REPLACE the original voice with a flawed version, without warning viewers about it at all. Creators may only find out when viewers have already been driven away.

Not enough expletives in all the languages in all the world to describe how I feel about this... chaos.social/@foosel/115411001

Hell no, every time I run into this AI shit when watching YouTube I just want to scream, it's THAT bad. Thankfully, there's a way to opt-out, and I just did that. And if you upload stuff to YouTube, for the love of all that is holy, PLEASE disable that too! Uncheck Channel Settings > Upload defaults > Advanced Settings > Automatic dubbing

Jeder Widerspruch an Merz ist mittlerweile "linke (oder grüne) Kampagne".
