Tried this rough diff highlighting tweak on a whim, and it feels like there’s something to it?

Lines which Retcon managed to match (a delete with an add) are gray, with only the inline highlights in color. Makes it easier to spot the highlights, and also to know when there’s none.

Thoughts?

when writing about mathematically esoteric concepts for workaday programmers interested in better understanding foundations of computing, there’s a tricky line to walk between “telling convenient but dangerous lies” and “failing to meet your audience where they’re starting from.”

do you have examples of material (blog posts, course notes, video, toot threads, etc) that you think does a good job at this? let’s give some positive attention to people doing the work. self promotion encouraged!
