I’ve been working on getting comfortable in Python these past few months. I made this today with Pillow. It was fun, clunky, and sprinkled with a TINY bit of heavily scrutinized vibe code 😅.
As an R user working towards polyglot status, “pythonic” docs still trip me up (tidyverse really spoiled me). As I start building more in Python, I’d love to help make its documentation feel more ... approachable?... with the things I build.

Inspired by the recent successful "vibe coding" in Lean of a solution to an Erdos problem at https://arxiv.org/abs/2510.19804 , I tried my hand at formalizing the disproof (by Pikhurko in 2001) that had recently been unearthed by Quanyu Tang of another Erdos problem https://www.erdosproblems.com/613. This was a simple finite counterexample: a graph of 44 edges on 15 vertices that could not be split into a bipartite graph and a graph with max degree 5. The paper of Pikhurko is just 9 pages (and also constructs more general counterexamples with larger choices of parameters, as well as some reasonably matching lower bounds), so this looked like within reach of modern AI tools. I therefore uploaded the paper to ChatGPT Pro and asked it first to summarize the construction in informal language, and then formalize step by step. https://chatgpt.com/share/690a65b3-473c-800e-afa5-e99f78610ee9 (1/4)
I love how quickly I can build/iterate/bug-fix the Loops webUI, backend and mobile app because I wrote 99% of the code.
I know this isn't sustainable long term, and look forward to growing our team, but these early days are magical.
The best feeling is shipping, and I'll be celebrating soon once the new Loops app has shipped.

Huh ... just enabled DNS64 and DHCP option 108 on my OPNsense to see if my phones would enable their CLAT, guessing that I would need to do more work, but it just works™️.
The iPhone reports 192.0.0.3 as it's IPv4 and 192.0.0.1 as gateway, and the Android doesn't show any IPv4 (but 255.0.0.0 as next hop in traceroute?).
Either way, that's another two IPv6-only devices, I'm actually making progress. 😁
