Closing old MS Paint windows and remembering that time that the "multi-account container" extension in Firefox lit up like it had an important message and when I clicked it was a literal fucking ad

I wouldn’t be able to do half of what I do without the unwavering support of my wife, @craftykrakenCrafty

Next year, we’re celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. :cat_love: I’ve been thinking a lot about our last decade together. “In sickness and in health” rings true in our lives.

She supports me in ways I cannot put into words. As I’ve become disabled, she’s propped me up and helped me live a better life despite it all. Caretakers deserve recognition. :ablobcatheart:

She’s going through so much right now writing her Capstone thesis and doing her practicum to become a Psychotherapist. Please send her some love!!! ❤️🫶🏻💕

Look, we cute: 🥰

My wife on the left in sunglasses, hair up, a black and white scarf, smiling towards the camera. Me on the right in sunglasses, with short hair, sunglasses, and a red/grey/black hoodie.

Background: out of focus woodlands with blue skies.

from the late 2000s to the late 2010s i would listen to music regularly when i was outside. but ever since they got rid of the headphone jacks on phones, i just dont do it anymore. its such a hassle now. oh are they charged up? oh ive lost one of the earbuds. uh the bluetooth hasnt paired? or has it? are they on? now everyone is hearing my music instead of me? wait i paired a different set of earphones? so i dont bother. i go without music. it's made my life a bit worse. less rich and enjoyable

Part of the point I'm trying to make here is that this whole process is unnecessarily difficult, annoying, and fiddly to implement in various tools, and that makes the part where I explain how to do it in detail, kind of difficult, annoying, and fiddly

Getting started with OCI containers on FreeBSD (step-by-step)

If you’ve been curious about running containers on FreeBSD, this post walks through a clean setup with Podman—from install to basic networking—plus an embedded video walkthrough that’s been getting a lot of interest.

What you’ll find inside:

Install and configure podman-suite
Create a ZFS filesystem for /var/db/containers
Configure pf to expose services
