Today I am stepping down from my role as the CEO of #Mastodon. Though this has been in the works for a while, I can't say I've fully processed how I feel about it. There is a bittersweet part to it, and I think I will miss it, but it also felt necessary. @brettcannon I found a demo, I built out for Philip some time ago using pyoxidizer. Not sure if you tried it or there was something technical about it you didn't like, but I build out a cookiecutter binary demo for macOS with options for other platforms.

It seemed to just work and my binary file was 35M, but passed my copy to another machine to run it tests.

fedibird.comは、WebUIの基本的な機能、APIアクセスなどについてはcloudflareを経由していません。直接サーバで捌いています。

ただし、メディアのキャッシュについてcloudflareを利用しています。（利用したりしてなかったりその時々で変わっています）

今回のようなcloudflareの障害については、添付メディアやカスタム絵文字などが表示されなくなりますが、基本的な機能は維持されます。

なお、cloudflareのDNSを利用しているため、今回の障害を上回る本当に致命的な障害が発生した場合は、全サービスがダウンすることもあり得ます。
