あたりを当たり前に課すけどそんな人間自体が人口の何割いるんだろうか。
I don't know what worries me more: that more and more politicians are falling for hollow LLM marketing promises or that they apparently want to have the world we would live in if those promises were true.

문득 지난번에 읽은 이 글과 관련해 그런 생각이 들었다.
우리는 종종 매력적인 것과 완벽한 것을 혼동한다고. 매력적인 것에는 모순이 없어야 하고, 어둠이 없어야하며, 그 어떤 실수와 슬픔과 우울과 연민과 고통과 충동과 같은 결함이 없어야 한다고. 하지만 그것은 매력이 아니다. 존재하지 않는 그 누구도 실체를 보지 못한 이상향일 뿐이다. 그 존재하지 않는 이상향에 자신을 비추기 때문에 내 글은 아름답지 않고, AI가 쓴 글이 아름다워 보일 수 있는게 아닐까 싶다.

I've heard many different technical decisions, most recently putting Rust into the bootstrapping path of CPython, being criticized as "ignoring hobbyists" or excluding them.
I don't think that's a fair or particularly focused argument. If your hobby of using an OSS Project in a specific way is affected, that doesn't mean the change is fundamentally "hostile to hobbyists."

I declare that today, Nov. 19, 2025 is the 50th anniversary of BitBLT, a routine so fundamental to computer graphics that we don't even think about it having an origin. A working (later optimized) implementation was devised on the Xerox Alto by members of the Smalltalk team. It made it easy to arbitrarily copy and move arbitrary rectangles of bits in a graphical bitmap. It was this routine that made Smalltalk's graphical interface possible. Below is part of a PARC-internal memo detailing it:
