Godot and iOS friends, been working on some GameCenter bindings, and this forced me to do some big upgrades to SwiftGodot.
I think what I have so far is nicer than Apple’s Unity plugin (api is about the same, but my glueing chops are more tasteful than theirs):
My town – Champaign IL – is in decline, it seems to me.
My industry – software – produces crappy products and is explicitly user-hostile.
My final professional focus – Agile – is dominated by charlatans and people who care only about money.
My country – USA – is desperately doing anything it can to avoid facing its mounting problems.
My body – 1959 model – has decided it’s time for everything to be achy most all the time.
I have a cold.
This sucks.

常常覺得在國外天天抱怨沒有認同感、交不到知心朋友的人是因為在國內過太好了，像我這種在國內就過得很差的人就沒有這種問題。
Yesterday I was talking to a bunch of computer science teachers about how proud I was that my best programmer in y12 was a girl and one of the middle aged men said quite sagely that he tells his boys that they should look forward to working with girls because they're a different style of programmer and they may not be as good or as fast but they are excellent *communicators*.
He saw no irony in saying that to me when I could program him into a corner with my hands tied behind my back. Snort
