I am from Rafah in Gaza, and for over a year we have been displaced, living now in Muwasi Khan Younis. Our city has become empty after everything was destroyed… homes, streets, even memories left nothing behind. We were not allowed to return, yet the bombing continues to this day, even though the city is empty of residents.
News is now circulating about heavy airstrikes on Rafah… what hatred is this? What limitless madness? Everything has been destroyed, everything we left behind has turned to ashes, and yet the bombing does not stop.
And even though the city is empty of residents and everything there has been destroyed, I honestly wonder… what is left for them to destroy after all this?! What greater hatred could there be?!
