Když se teď pořád řeší ten tak si říkám že alespoň ta kontrola věku by se snad mohla dát nějak rozumně vyřešit.

Ale ne jak v Británii kde se prostě legislativně řeklo musíte kontrolovat věk a je z toho ten bordel s AI rozpoznávání obličejů atd.

Potřebuje pornoweb znát mou identitu, občanku, sken obličeje... NE! - jednoduše stačí 18<= ano/ne.

Potřebuje ověřující autorita vědět kdo přesně se ptá na ten věk? Ne ale potřebuje vědět jestli se na to může ptát.

Udělat nějaký takový zero-knowledge systém a zakomponovat ho do identity občana nebo bankovní identity (už to tady je) a pak by s tím snad nikdo neměl problém.

Nikdo rozumný nechce mít osobní informace nad rámec toho co musí mít, to se projevilo v té Británii kde to prostě outsorcovali a na svých serverech měli jen to ANO.

Firefox: BW extension 2025.11.1 not prompting for passkeys on any site

As the subject line says. Sites stopped prompting me after the extension was updated automatically to 2025.11.1, although this morning I was using them fine. I assume before the update. I know the extension updated because I had to unlock my vault again (had not closed the browser). I tried disabling and re-enabling the extension, and checked for ‘Ask to save and use Passkeys’ as well as toggling it. ALL sites I tried will no longer prompt to use my passkey, instead they revert to Windows p...

We are sitting on our computer somewhere and are in the need of an ISO. Maybe we want to create a virtual machine or have some other need like flashing said ISO to a usb stick. Sometimes it is too much hassle to mount our NAS share or we are on a totally different device which is not ours. I’ve had quite some situations in which I was working on a PC/Laptop that a friend gave me on which I did not want to mount my network share.

Following the 🤝 Franco-German Summit on European Digital Sovereignty, one thing is clear: Europe cannot strengthen its technological leadership while its own institutions remain dependent on foreign digital platforms. The European Parliament still relies on U.S. services, like Microsoft, Google, Meta and X, for essential communication and infrastructure - leaving us vulnerable to shutdowns and external influence. 📣 If the EU wants to champion technological sovereignty, it must start at home.  🚨 What I will fight for in the coming months : 1️⃣ Demand the transitioning of software used in the EU Parliament to EU-hosted, open-source digital tools for communication and collaboration.  This is essential to safeguard cybersecurity, protect sensitive data from extraterritorial surveillance, and comply with GDPR. 2️⃣ Advocate to align institutional practices with the EU’s vision for digital sovereignty and technological independence. The Parliament must lead by example if Europe wants to build credible, resilient alternatives. 3️⃣ Demand that the Parliament invests in open-source solutions to boost transparency, innovation and European tech ecosystems – and the Parliament’s ability to counter foreign interference and misinformation.  Open-source platforms enable peer review, accountability, and public trust. Platforms like X have repeatedly interfered in European political discourse. Relying on them weakens our ability to protect democratic processes. 🔥 We can start now – we have the alternatives : ✔️ openDesk instead of Microsoft Teams / OneDrive / SharePoint  ✔️ Mastodon or Bluesky instead of X/Twitter  ✔️ Pixelfed instead of Instagram / Facebook  ✔️ Signal instead of WhatsApp / Slack  ✔️ PeerTube instead of YouTube  ✔️ Qwant or Ecosia as search default | 13 comments on LinkedIn

developers: is there a way to get a *raw*, unprocessed video stream for just getting the pixels out of a camera? No Center Stage, no Reactions, no background replacement, and no interaction from the user to allow enabling any of that. Like if I wanted to set up a telescope for astrophotography, weather monitoring, security surveillance, or literally any use case which isn't "pointing the camera at my face for a video call". Is AVFoundation too high-level for this?

自分のためだけに熱狂できる人はすごく限られるので、その火種をできるだけ長続きするために周りの人が誠実に熱狂している人のやっていることを楽しむ必要があると思う。
誠実にというのは「人気が出そうでお金になるから」という利己的な理由のみで応援しないことだ。

​「地域のために」と、眉間にシワを寄せて頑張る時代は、もう終わりでいいと思う。 ​必死に地域を救おうとするより、「自分が夢中で遊んでいたら、気づいたら地域も救われていた」という人の方が、結果的に長く続くし人も集まる。 ​「地域貢献」は、目的ではなく『結果』くらいがちょうどいい。 まずは自分が満たされること。 その「余ったエネルギー」で地域が潤うのが、一番健全な順序だと思う。 誰かのための犠牲より 自分のための「熱狂」を。 ​その熱が伝播して、結果的に人が動き、地域が変わる。 それくらい「自分勝手」な方が、実は誰よりも地域に貢献できるのかもしれない。

어른의 노력이 모든 것을 바꾼다 어른의 의무 야마다 레이지 지음 김영주 옮김 북스톤 펴냄 저자는 일본의 만화가다. 1966년에 태어났으니, 이 책이 출간된 2016년엔 50살이었다. 50살이 되면 어른의 의무를 지키며 살아야 한다는 것이 저자의 생각인 것 같다. 저자가 말하는 어른의 의무는 3가지다. 불평하지 말 것, 잘난 척하지 말 것, 기분 좋은 상태를 유지할 것. 어른이 의무를 지킬 대상은 자기보다 젊은 사람들이다. 겸허한 자세로 젊은 사람들을 존중하라는 것이다. 겸허함을 강조했던 직전 독서 '사랑의 기술'이 떠올랐다. 책의 마지막에서 2차 대전 종전 이후부터 지금까지 일본 사회의 변천사를 출판 만화의 변천사와 함께 요약하는 게 특히 좋았다. 무난한 번역이었다 (번역 별 3.5 ★★★☆).
