This is my face at discovering that the TTC tunnels between Eglinton West and St George got 5G cellular service at some point, and I never noticed until now because my old phone was 4G only. On the one hand, more possibilities for distractions when I take the TTC, on the other hand this probably spells the end of the quiet comedy of watching people be on a phone call¹ as the southbound train pulls out of Eglinton West.
¹ I was going to say 'be on their phones', but that's ambiguous these days.

If they think that the accusations against you are credible and serious (especially if they think you're abusing people), they should publicly ban you from participating in the community and deal with their decision afterwards.
If they can't commit to something like that, it seems to me, like they wouldn't be able to deal with actual abuse if it were to happen in their community.

It's actually been almost a year. I first notified them of Luna's abuse and her hinting of involving herself in the FDo community publicly in January 2025.
At the time Karol was already financially supporting Luna and allowing her to manipulate him. Sima (then CoC member) had also been in contact with Luna (unbeknownst to me), and then mocked me for making that CoC report, despite the fact that making a formal report was suggested by another CoC member at the time (Lyude).
At the time, Karol claimed he'd recused himself from the situation and Sima later stepped down.
Now Karol is publicly and privately involving himself, I strongly suspect Sima is still pulling strings behind the scenes (the uncredited DM claiming they have "a plan tm" to deal with me sounds a lot like how she speaks), Luna is making a concerted effort to insert herself into the FDo community despite having nothing of value to offer to the ecosystem and no reason to do so other than to push me out (a few incomplete personal pet projects with zero users, written in a niche programming language with incomplete support across major distros do not, in fact, make any sense to host at FDo), and the rest of CoC is basically allowing all this to happen and apparently agreeing with a "well we don't know who the abuser really is so we're just going to do nothing" take (which, of course, means the abuser, Luna, wins).
I don't know how anyone thinks any of this makes sense.

Migrating from GitHub is a step in the right direction. However, once you start a self hosted version, please make sure you block all bots. You use Git for collaboration and building open source software. There's no point giving access to these bots as they just consume resources; even Google and Bing, under the disguise of a search engine, use your data to train AI.

Bluesky custom feeds in Python are now ~x2 faster! ~25-35% faster DAG-CBOR decoding, and ~17% faster CID decoding! I do have more ideas on what to try to speed it up even further! For example, applying BOLT on top of the existing PGO.

Why do compilers love `xor eax, eax` for zeroing registers? It's brilliant: saves bytes compared to `mov eax, 0`, AND x86 CPUs recognise this "zeroing idiom" early in the pipeline—breaking register dependencies and removing it from execution entirely. Even better: writing to `eax` zeroes the top 32 bits of `rax` for free, handling 64-bit longs in one instruction.

終於搞懂了阿爾巴尼亞是人是一個族群，然後阿爾巴尼亞這個國家跟科索沃想合併，但是因為太敏感了所以不行，塞爾維亞以前跟科索沃有過戰爭，他們佔領過科索沃，後來在NATO的幫助下科索沃獨立了，但中國不承認科索沃（天啊怎麼中國永遠能站在「邪惡」陣營裡面）。然後這一塊都是信仰伊斯蘭教的（我原本以為是東正教家），講的語言跟俄羅斯語有點像，文化有點像土耳其。以前他們是土耳其的一部分，然後國旗的老鷹羽毛代表他們戰勝土耳其的次數，紅底是人民的鮮血。在義大利、土耳其、瑞典、德國都有不少科索沃的移民。
