really, really impressed with posty: a mastodon archive -> html static site generator

it ingests your mastodon archive (post history) as a zip, and barfs out an entire static html site with indices and tags. all servable with any standard web server.

this is super helpful because when i shut down the dialup.cafe instance, there was no easy way to get access to my old posts and images.

Ich schreibe viel, gerade auch von Hand. Ich führe regelmässig ein Tagebuch, schreibe mehrmals pro Woche meine Morgenseiten und lasse mich hin und wieder mithilfe von Prompts über Gott und die Welt aus. Von meinen Blogbeiträgen und den zahlreichen Texten für meinen Unterricht ganz zu schweigen. Aber eines schreibe ich nicht: Geschichten. Darum habe ich mir vorgenommen, im Dezember bis Heiligabend im Rahmen einer nicht ganz vollständigen 30-Day-Challenge jeden Tag eine sehr kurze #ScienceFiction Story zu schreiben, die maximal 1'000 Zeichen lang ist, damit sie in einen Mastodon-Post passt. #Microfiction nennt man das wohl. Es folgt also ein Faden, der von heute bis Heiligabend jeden Tag um einen Beitrag länger wird. So jedenfalls meine Absicht.
