Recently, in a fit of annoyance about some big players in tech and particularly AI, I posted a slide about how AI needs more ethics across my usual social media channels, and it caught the attention of none other than Jeff Atwood (
@codinghorrorJeff Atwood).
He asked for a link to the slide deck, which I shared, after which he said that I should post in a more web-friendly format. I thought it was a good idea, and I told him I’d do just that.

The moment fb asked me my ID card or passport to verify an account I had made I just gave up... What are they supposed to be to ask for this kind of data? To verify what? And I even dislike it when I am asked about my phone number... Why on earth do people casually give away info like that? "I don't have anything to hide" is not even an answer....
Static site folks: what's your favorite way to put comments on a static site?
I want to host on object storage in order to cut down costs, but I want some form of blog comments over there.
I'm familiar with Disqus and Hyvor, but interested in exploring other options as well.

Over November 2025, I've been able to contribute to 
@gnome, and it was a pleasure!
I focused on GNOME Clocks, with the goal of making it as good as possible for GNOME 50. I focused on #accessibility, #linuxmobile and all sorts of bug fixes and features, as well as issue and MR triaging.
I also fixed some tiny issues in #GTK and #libadwaita, and helped make gettext-pseudolocale as good as possible.
I hope to find more free time to make GNOME Clocks 50 dependable as a mobile clocks app.
