Is there any way to have the web interface of not play a sound, ever?

I am getting a sounds on notifications, and I _thought_ there was a way to disable those, but I can't seem to find it.

I ~always keep the tabs muted, but sometimes I forget and it's annoying. I'll look when I look. Stop trying to get my attention with sound.

読み終えてなかった岡倉天心の「茶の本」の続きを久しぶりに読んでたら、小堀遠州という有名な茶人が千利休について語った言葉として

> 偉い利休は、自分だけにおもしろいと思われる物をのみ愛好する勇気があったのだ。しかるに私は、知らず知らず一般の人の趣味にこびている。実際、利休は千人に一人の宗匠であった。

というのが引用されていたのを読んで、つい自分の中で、インプレッション至上主義的な SNS とか、アルゴリズムフレンドリーな楽曲傾向とか、何かにつけて「数」を競うことが多い現代のいろいろを思い出さずにはいられなかった。
