I've been using AWS at $day_job for 11 years.

I can safely say to anyone who is looking into using AWS for their computing projects: DON'T.

Not only is Amazon one of the most evil companies on the planet, their AWS is one of the worst cobbled together pieces of garbage I've had the displeasure of using. Not only that ... They charge you a premium for the displeasure.

They will also try to lock you in to their services so you're dependent on them; they actually "dumb down" I.T. in doing so.

一名隸屬國安處、39歲的男警，今年初休班時涉嫌在港鐵站偷拍女子私密部位，其後被帶往尖沙咀警署調查期間，疑情緒失控企圖搶奪同袍佩槍。被告被控非法拍攝私密部位及企圖無牌管有槍械兩項罪名。辯方今日（4日）於區域法院表示，將會為被告認罪。案件押後至明年6月29日於西九龍裁判法院進行答辯及求情，其間被告須還柙候訊。

被告高振宗（39歲），報稱警員，被控兩罪，包括非法拍攝或觀察私密部位，以及企圖無牌管有槍械。控罪指，他於2025年1月15日，在尖沙咀港鐵站扶手電梯出於觀察或拍攝女子X的私密部位的意圖，為了從女子X的衣服下方，觀察或拍攝其私密部位而操作設備，及為了性目的或不誠實地作出以上所描述的行為，及不理會自己以上所描述的行為是否獲得女子X同意；同日在尖沙咀警署報案室內企圖無牌管有槍械，即一枝警槍。
