스레드에서 맥 색(감)이 좋다는 떡밥이 돌던데, 컬러 프로필 매니지먼트에서 macOS가 더 통합되어 있긴 하지만 윈도/리눅스에서 안 되는 건 아님. GTK 등 크로스 플랫폼 라이브러리에서는 ColorSync가 안 먹히는 문제도 있음. 어도비 제품/캡쳐원 등을 쓴다면 윈도도 컬러 프로필 잘 지원함.
캘리브레이션 된 모니터라고 해도 패널 제조사/방식/환경/노후화 정도에 따라 미묘하게 틀어지는 문제는 맥이라고 다르지 않고, OLED 탑재한 아이패드 프로면 최고의 컬러 디스플레이라 할 수 있겠지만 그걸로는 작업이 안 되고 맥은 아님. 맥북 에어가 랩탑 중 가성비 좋다는 말 정도는 할 수 있겠지.
무엇보다, 이제 디스플레이는 스펙 준수도의 문제지 감성의 영역이 아님. 삼성 노트북 색감 구리다는 거나, 맥 색감 좋다는 거나, 다 비슷한 이야기임. 업종 관행 등으로 맥이 좀더 편할 수는 있을 뿐. + 아이폰의 Display P3 사진을 맥에서 띄우면 당연히 sRGB 윈도 PC보다 더 정확하게 보이겠지. 그런 수준의 말들이 너무 많다. Display P3도 그냥 애플이 만든 변종 독자 규격일 뿐이고.

In a 19-page letter, addressed to senior government officials at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency and Fort Bliss military command, the coalition accuses officers at the immigration detention facility on the base, called Camp East Montana, of being “in violation of agency policies and standards, as well as statutory and constitutional protections”.
The advocates called for the immediate closure of the camp, where more than 2,700 detainees are being held in a complex of tents.
