Old dog seems to be fully recovered. Certain gross sources of information have led me to believe that she ate some coffee beans a few days ago, that this was probably why she was awake crying and barking all night for two nights straight, and that this was probably why she was basically unresponsively sleepy for most of yesterday.

The question now is whether enough stress has passed for me to manage to sleep for more than an hour at a time tonight.

It's white people's responsibility to stop racism.

It's men's responsibility to stop sexism.

It's cis people's responsibility to stop transphobia.

It's straight people's responsibility to stop homophobia.

It's able people's responsibility to stop ableism.

It's always the responsibility of the people in a position of privilege to stop the oppression they are benefiting from.

If you are part of a privileged group, in one way or another, get to it.

Serious question...

When do the users get a say in how we want our experience?

I'm fucking tired of companies trying to tell me "we're doing this for you" when most people I know nowadays respond with "Thanks I hate it"

Tonight, my online friend Hailey from Australia posted pictures from her second ever outing in public as herself. She wrote "It is very nice to feel just ... Myself" and i couldn't be happier for her! This is why i stick around the trans community 30 years after my own transition - so i get to see people experiencing these moments of joy in their transitions, these inflection points in life where things turn towards a better future. Seeing a young woman blossom into her true self is a privilege and a joy i will never grow tired of.

Looking for more places I can meet up with people outdoors in the rainy season in . I want the outdoor space to be ventilated, and ideally have outdoor heaters. Lists often list places like Laurelhurst Market, but their tent is completely enclosed. The Asylum cart pod is a good place, The Fireside in NW is pretty good if the wind is coming from the south. Other suggestions folks?

Lucy Daringのスタンドアップコメディはいつも私を笑わせてくれるが、今回はTRPGのD&Dのプレイヤーマッチングをしていて、アメリカではコメディを見にくる層にも知られているんだなぁ。って感心したよ。

Every time a Linux bro posts "well if you just used Linux," I regret ever switching.

Idea?

Just STFU.

Your tone deaf, low empathy trash takes are part of why ppl hate Linux. Maybe like, spend some of that time you use to dunk on ppl in distress taking courses on empathic communication instead.

Or just STFU, I'll settle for that tbh.
