I believe that Computer Science has a place in "The Liberal Arts Education"-- that is I think an understanding of how computers are made, programming and algorithms should be a part of what a "well educated" person knows regardless of their particular area of focus.

This is not the case at present and one can be considered "well educated" a know nothing about computers.

Misskeyを表示している状態だと、おそらくMisskeyの方がレンダリング負荷は高いからそっちをメインでレンダリングするようにブラウザが認識して、結果的にこの推察のように「誤ってバックグラウンド判定されててデコーダのフレームレート落とされている」になっている可能性ありそう

day 16

I posted a shot about contrast on day 9, but following some lovely fog chat with @mothninjaAnna and others yesterday, I thought today I'd feature some pictures of obscurity and diffusion and all that lovely atmosphere that exists when things are not sharp, bright, or clear at all.

As a lighting designer we more normally get to play with this stuff in theatrical scenarios than architectural, but as a photographer it's always fun to attempt capturing when you get the chance.

いつもCのモニターでMisskeyを開いて表示しており、Cで再生しようとすると必然的にMisskeyが隠れるからCでだけ再生可能ということっぽい(なぜMisskeyを開いていると再生できないのかは不明)

I'm happy to report that the transition from my to a Google-free Pixel 3a XL running is going amazingly smoothly. I have not had to log into a account even once. For apps, I am using , which downloads and installs the apps anonymously without a Google sign-in, and only a couple of minor apps have failed to install. Even my bank app was easy to install and sign. But I hate that there's no autocorrect or autocomplete.

狭小ブーム（？）動画これか〜
これでも良いかと思えるのは、表面をキレイに覆ってるからだろうなー。「築浅」という言葉も出てましたが。

わたしも都会に住むならミニマリストが賢いと思うんですが、持ち物を絞るということは、変化に弱くなるということなので、それなりに自覚して生活しないと危ない。
若くて、この先稼いで暮らしかたを変えていこうとしてるとか、卒業後に安定した実家に帰りますとか、期間限定なら賢いと思う。

日本にはタコ部屋という文化がありましてね…
保健所で簡易宿舎の許可取ったとき、1人あたりの最小面積、布団の、トイレ、洗面所の確保、窓などのチェックがあって、あ〜ルールの根っこにタコ部屋防止があるのかなーと思ったですよね。

完全に止まるというよりは1fpsくらいになるといった感じ
あと普通にvideo要素を置いて表示してるんじゃなくてdomには追加せずに再生し、内容をWebGPUで読み取ってWGSLで書いたシェーダーに渡して加工してレンダリングする感じになってる
ここ(MENUから任意の動画ファイルを読み込める)(60fpsの動画、かつlimit fps to 30オプションを無効にすることで60fps描画される)
