How does your org/team handle cleaning up code?

I have seen 4 big patterns in my career.

1. you do a little all the time in every PR/MR
2. you do regular PR/MRs that are separate clean ups from feature work, but not ticketed
3. you do have refactor or clean up tickets to do this work
4. you do them as projects

I'm not saying these are mutually exclusive either. You can do all 4 in an org.

So what have you seen in your experience? What's common?

ISRO completed the first of two Integrated Air Drop Test (IADT-01). A scaled down version of the Crew Module was dropped from the Indian Air Force Chinook helicopter over the Bay of Bengal.

News reports suggest a drop happened at 7 am today. The Indian Navy recovered the capsule around 9 am and was returned to ISRO at Chennai this afternoon.

* "최대 배상액 100달러" 2012년 5월(v6)부터 있었습니다. 역시 대한민국 약관이 따로 있던 시기에는 해당 조항이 빠져 있습니다. 개정된 약관을 기준으로 정확한 워딩은 '미화 100달러와 (해당하는 경우) 귀하가 해당 청구를 초래한 서비스에 대하여 지난 6개월간 당사에 지급한 금액 중 보다 큰 금액'입니다.

* "탈옥 방지 조항" 이거는 이번에 개정되는 내용이 맞고, 워딩을 보아 Grok을 의식한 내용으로 보입니다. '즉각적인 엔지니어링'은 '프롬프트 엔지니어링'의 오역인 듯합니다.

* "자의적 계정 해지" 2023년 9월(v19)부터 있었습니다. * "정부 정보 공개" 2009년 9월(v2)부터 있었습니다.

* "강제 관할" 관할권 조항 역시 2009년 9월(v2)부터 있었습니다. 머스크가 인수하기 이전까지는 샌프란시스코 카운티 연방법원이나 주 법원이었고, 2024년 11월(v20)부터 타란트 카운티 주 법원으로 바뀌었습니다. 2017년 10월(v12)부터 2022년 7월(v16)까지 대한민국 약관이 따로 있었을 때는 해당 조항이 잠시 없어지기도 했습니다. 집단소송 포기 조항은 2023년 9월(v19)부터 있었습니다.

블루스카이 약관에서는 이 내용을 작성할 때 그나마 표현에 신경을 쓴 흔적이 보이고, 사전 허가 없이 판매하지 않겠다는 내용도 있습니다.

* "AI 학습 권한 강탈" * "1만 5천 달러의 손해배상금" * "1년의 소멸시효" 2024년 11월(v20)에 이미 추가된 내용입니다.

1줄 요약: 탈옥 방지 조항 이외에는 2023년(v19)/2024년(v20)에 이미 개악된 내용이거나 서비스 초창기부터 있던 규정입니다.
