I finally figured out OnShape part studio configurations — and also how to do associated tricks like dynamic suppression and conditional expressions. Super powerful, and makes CAD modeling feel much more like writing code (because you are! Every feature in OnShape is actually calling a function under the hood, and every field can actually be a full-on FeatureScript expressions).

I usually try to get the cheapest domain for the longest time as long as it has whois privacy, and my last domain set me back $60 for 10 years.

So if you could maybe make it more like $10 a year please? Still a premium price but more attainable for the average individual.

Or maybe you could make the price to register scale with the wealth of the person registering?

Christmas feels special and emotional this year, especially in Bethlehem, in the West Bank, where the nativity church lies (a holy site for Christians): they’re celebrating Christmas for the first time in three years.

Christmas is the Christian celebration of the birth of a Jewish Palestinian child who was born in rubble because his parents were left with nothing. He was born thanks to the generosity of good shepherds.

Speaking about Christians in Palestine, I was reminded of Rev. Munther Isaac in Bethlehem who has been delivering "Christ in the Rubble" sermons condemning the genocide committed by Israel and funded by the USA.

We feature an excerpt of the Christmas sermon of Reverend Munther Isaac of the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Bethlehem, titled “Christ Is Still in the Rubble,” referencing a sermon he gave at this time last year titled “Christ in the Rubble,” about the loss of Palestinian life to Israel’s assault of Gaza. We also go to Bethlehem to speak with Reverend Isaac. He shares his message to the U.S. and the rest of the world. “Our fear here in Bethlehem is that there is no one who’s going to hold Israel accountable,” he says. “We’re tired and sick of these wars, which are enabled by American tax money and American politics.”

대학생이나 주니어 대상으로 멘토링 하다보면 종종 문서작업을 할 때가 있는데, 초안 검토해 달라고 해서 봐주면서 이런거 저런거 주로 표기법, 맞춤법 등 위주로 첨삭해주면 열 중에 둘 정도는 고마와하고 나머진 그렇지 않더라.

지도교수가 쉼표하나 마침표 하나까지 간섭하고 고쳐주더라는 글 봤는디 그건 사실상 과시죠 저도 영어로 첨 논문쓸때 교수님이 한국어랑 영어랑 괄호 띄어쓰기 부호 등등 다른거 알려주신적 있음… 그거 조심해야한다고 사회에서 썼으면 기본도 안되어있다고 까였을텐데 학교라서 실수라고 넘어가지는것 저런거 하나하나 가르쳐주는 교수님이 있는것 요새는 감사해야할것에 감히 날 혼내? 이런감성인듯
