Elektron are the kings of DAWless/desktop sequencing, but they've never made a polyphonic unit until the Tonverk this year. If the YouTube synth community is any guide this landed with a wet thud, until they added a granular synth in an update and now everybody loves it. When an entire class of technology states on the packaging that it was made in China but intended "for overseas use only," this should really give you pause before plugging it into your network.
You will find this verbiage on a lot of Android TV streaming boxes for sale at the major retailers. There's a very good reason the country that makes this crap doesn't want it on their own networks. My advice: If you have one of these Android streaming boxes on your network or get one as a gift, toss it in the trash. It's not Singapore, but I once spent a week working in a PCB factory in Penang, Malaysia, overseeing some hardware being manufactured for my company.
The canteen was amazing. It doesn't sound as expansive as Adrianna's school food, but it was simply delicious every day - so many options and flavours. Wonderful.

We explored a trail in Rendija Canyon yesterday and discovered a substantial arch across the canyon. Definitely need to try to get there some time. We already knew about the tent rocks down in Rendija (visible on the cliff face in the wider-angle photo). They're unusual tent rocks, made of conglomerate cobbles rather than solid tuff or pumice.
